Day 04- How and when did you first discover The Avett Brothers?
So, it was not so long ago, but you must not forget, that I’m living in the middle of nowhere… and yes, maybe my story is lame, but every good story have to start somehow…
Grammy 2011. Checked this video because of the Mums, and after the britts, they come… that guy with his interesting hair, with the falling microphone, the other guys, who had sooooo long legs, and hey, they have a cellist in the background with long hair. Badass… and Head Full of Doubt, Road Full of Promise was a good song. It was enough to download I and Love and You, and I remember, that I didn’t start to listening it immediately because I had some tech problem with the audio, but after I did… and then I discovered Mike’s site on youtube, and it was important too… so till around April or May, when the European Tourdates came out, I’d already known that I will plan my summer holiday around their gigs in Germany…
