Oh, that’s great. Maybe we can chatter a bit in german then. But what for you make the course? Let’s be honest… why should one’s learn German.
The thing is, that German was the first foreign language that I studied. I spent ages with it, but as it was something that I had to learn, I hated (sorry). The last occasion that I used it, was at my graduation.
At my actual company we can choose from 11 different language to learn. My boss said, that he wants to learn something but I have to go with him. We discussed our plans, and we agreed that we are giving your language a second chance (he had more or less the same German background as I have… or not really, he knows lyrics of Rammstein very well, me not :) ).
But I have to add, that at this moment our knowledge is terrible (not to mention, that we use english words while we are speaking). It is really sad, as I could speak in German.
“why should one’s learn German” haha… I usually ask the same from colleagues who came from abroad, obviously with “Hungarian”… but belive me, if you speak a language that only 10 million people speak in the whole World, you really want to learn German :)
